Jana is a 1960's cargo ship that has been renovated into an open loft-style houseboat.

The freedom of the water enters in the open and bright living space. After a long day of discovering, you can relax in the sauna or on the 360° sundeck.

The boat is located on the canal "Oostende-Brugge", at a glance from the city centre. It's a quite calm area along a biking path.

The space
The total living space is +- 100m² and has large windows that create a great and free feeling.

Fully and high quality equiped kitchen:
- Induction fire
- Dishwasher
- Fridge
- Freezer
- Micro wave
- Coffee machine
- Water boiler
- Ground coffee and tea bags on the house(boat)

The kitchen runs over into the dining area and the cosy sitting area.
We provide a television screen but the channels are not active. You can connect your own device with a hdmi cable (provided) if required.

The bathroom is large and luxurious:
- XL Bath tub with rain shower
- Finnish sauna
- Sink and sufficient cupboards
- High mirror
- Seperate toilet with sink

Bedrooms for a total of 4 persons
Bedroom 1:
- 1 large bed (200x180cm) - 2 persons
- Space for a baby cot, just inform us please
Bedroom 2:
- 1 single bed (200x80cm) - 1 person
- a built-in, authentic mahogany medium bed (190x110cm) - fits 1 adult or 2 children
Guest access
The part of the boat that used to be the cargo-space, is totally yours during your stay!

The wheelhouse, the deckhouse, motor cabin and other technical areas are locked. When we get the chance to meet, we will off course show you around.
Additional notes
Children:
Baby cot and chair are available on request.
The terrace is well locked and closed and safe for children when a parent is around.

Parking:
There is free and unlimited parking on the other side of the water (500m)
If you park on the quai on our side, it's also free, only you will have to place a blue parking disc and you are limited in time.
Guest interaction
We prefer to let you discover our boat and the environment at your own pace. On the moment of your reservation, you will receive local information and some must-knows about your self-checkin.

If, afther that, you still have questions or issues, we are always reachable per phone and willing to pass by when needed.
Neighborhood overview
On the water, you will experience a different world than ashore: the ducks will join you in the evening when having a last glass of wine. Cargo ships and pleasure boats pass very close to the boat. Will the captain waive back to you?

The neighborhood is called "Kristus-Koning", it is a really nice and calm living area, with lots of supermarkets and restaurants around. The boat is located at the edge of the city, just next to a walking path.
